Porcelain enamel .. also called vitreous enamel is a material made by fusing powdered glass to a metal substrate under very high temperatures (around 800 degrees Celsius). The powder melts, flows then hardens to a smooth and amazingly durable whiteboard writing surface.

Porcelain whiteboards are also magnetic and recommended in high use writing environments. The writing surface is guaranteed for 25 years.
